Newegg has begun offering early deals across PC hardware components, prebuilt gaming PCs, laptops and monitors as part of its Fantastech Sale, with the promotion set to launch fully on October 5. Shoppers who buy early receive automatic refunds if hardware prices drop lower, according to Tom's Hardware.
Among the storage offers is a 2TB drive that the publication describes as suited to holding unplayed games from a Steam library. It lists read speeds of 2,200MB/s and write speeds up to 1,600MB/s. Another discounted solid-state drive, a Gen 3 model, carries the same listed read and write speeds of up to 2,200MB/s and up to 1,600MB/s.
Several prebuilt systems are included in the early offers. The ABS Stratos II Aqua pairs an i9-14900K processor with 32GB of RAM and an RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GPU. Another gaming PC combines an Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1TB SSD and Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti graphics. A third model runs on an Intel Core i7-14700F CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU with 12GB of VRAM, alongside 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD.
The CyberPower GM 70929 packs AMD's Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card, plus 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB SSD. The ABS Cyclone Aqua, aimed at 1080p and 1440p gaming, features an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, 16GB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB SSD and a 20-core Intel Core i7-14700F CPU. The MSI Aegis Z2 pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F CPU with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, a 2TB SSD and 32GB of DDR5-6000 RAM. An O11 build carries an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz processor, an AMD RX 9070 XT with 16GB of VRAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD and 16GB of DDR5-6000 RAM.
Component and peripheral deals include a rechargeable duster with a 150,000 rpm fan and three speed settings. A fully modular 750W power supply carries an 80+ Gold rating and supports ATX 3.1 while being PCIe 5.1-ready. A PCIe 5.0 motherboard offers three M.2 slots, DDR5, WiFi 7, 1GB Lan, HDMI, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C and front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C headers.
Also on offer are a full-sized wireless keyboard with 104 keys, a small screen, a hot-swappable PCB, an 8000 mAh battery, a volume knob and RGB backlighting, and a portable FHD 1080p monitor with built-in speakers. A compact micro ATX case includes a detachable carrying handle and supports up to a 240 AIO. Tom's Hardware says the page will be updated as the sale approaches its full launch.
