Guardz Cyber Ltd. has integrated Palo Alto Networks Inc.'s Prisma Browser for Business into its security platform for managed service providers serving small businesses, the company said today. The addition is aimed at phishing attacks that fall between separate security tools, where an email lures an employee to a counterfeit login page and the credentials entered there expose connected accounts.
Prisma Browser for Business can block the fake page at the moment the link is clicked. Guardz then ties that browser event to the original email, related Microsoft 365 activity and endpoint telemetry for the same user identity. The provider and Guardz's 24/7 managed detection and response team can then handle the whole chain as one incident.
Palo Alto Networks supplies the browser-side detection. Inline machine-learning models screen pages for phishing, and Advanced URL Filtering blocks malicious sites, including fake sign-in pages and attacks designed to steal live session tokens. The company's WildFire service analyzes suspect files, uploads and downloads are scanned as they pass through the browser, and the browser flags risky extensions.
Shivam Srivastava, vice president of product at Palo Alto Networks, said the browser is now the office for most small businesses. Guardz Co-founder and Chief Executive Dor Eisner described the browser as the primary gateway to the modern workspace and said traditional tools operate in silos that leave gaps in visibility and response. The agents on Guardz's platform, he said, are intended to let providers investigate threats autonomously anywhere in that workspace.
Guardz handles provisioning and default configuration. Kevin Kehoe of early-access provider Datawise Networks Inc. said the rollout through his firm's remote monitoring and management software went smoothly and that the browser extension reached every Chrome and Edge profile within minutes.
For generative artificial intelligence services used in the browser, Guardz's AI Usage and Control features let technicians set a separate policy for each client. Those policies can limit copying, pasting and file transfers by website or category, and Guardz has added a report giving providers a per-client view of AI tool usage.
Palo Alto Networks entered enterprise browsers with its 2023 acquisition of Israeli startup Talon Cyber Security Ltd., and Prisma Browser for Business went on sale in the U.S. in March. Guardz is a venture capital-backed startup that has raised $84 million, including a $56 million Series B round led by ClearSky in June 2025.
