Promevo LLC, a Google Cloud partner based in Covington, Kentucky, introduced a platform on Monday called Insights by Promevo. The product is designed to track how organizations adopt Google LLC's Gemini Enterprise, the artificial intelligence agents employees create with it, and spending across the rest of a customer's Google Cloud environment. It is aimed at information technology and finance teams that need a single view of that activity.
The company describes a visibility gap in enterprise AI adoption as the problem it is addressing. Google introduced Gemini Enterprise a year ago, and its no-code workbench lets staff across a business build agents of their own. According to Promevo, the native Google Cloud and Google Workspace consoles keep license and agent data on separate systems, and their history covers a rolling 28-day window. Insights consolidates that information in one place and keeps a longer record.
For Gemini Enterprise licenses, the platform distinguishes seats that have been activated and are in use from those sitting idle, and it calculates how much of the spending on idle seats could be reclaimed. Agents built by employees are placed in an inventory that also shows what each agent can access. Promevo said the software performs this work without reading or storing the content of prompts and responses.
Beyond Gemini Enterprise, the platform lets information technology and finance teams break down cloud spending by project and service, while an asset map of the organization's environment updates continuously. Identity and access management data is collected across projects, and the platform flags users with excessive permissions. Where Gemini Enterprise agents touch Google Cloud resources, Promevo said customers can trace a license to the agent using it and on to the cloud resources that agent draws on.
Promevo Chief Executive Karthik Kripapuri said the product was built around the biggest questions enterprises have about AI, including whether agents are staying within proper boundaries. He said the company is already seeing customer organizations with thousands of agents and expects that scale to become common.
Promevo has been in business for 25 years and says it serves more than 4,000 organizations. Its consulting work includes a structured Gemini Enterprise adoption program and custom agent development, and it sells gPanel for Google Workspace administration. Enterprises that build their own agents can list them on Google Cloud Marketplace through a Promevo program.
Insights by Promevo is available now for Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise customers, with more of the platform due to roll out over the coming weeks.
