Peak Design is broadening its lineup of charging products, introducing two wireless chargers, a power adapter and a range of USB-C cables. The company, known primarily for its backpacks and travel bags, said the new devices are meant to combine premium materials with more capable functionality for everyday electronics. Most of the new products are available starting today, though the Wireless Kickstand Travel Battery and some cable lengths arrive on November 5th.

The $99.95 Peak Design Wireless Kickstand Travel Battery comes in black or moon, a cream finish, and houses a 5,000mAh battery in a magnetic enclosure made of machined anodized aluminum with a matching folding kickstand. Peak Design describes it as the world’s first Qi2.3-certified wireless charger, referring to the newest version of the Qi2 specification. The company says most 5,000mAh cells cannot safely deliver 25W of wireless charging, a capability usually found in batteries of at least 10,000mAh. With Qi2.3 support, the travel battery can wirelessly charge a compatible device at 25W when plugged into a USB power source, while charging from its own battery tops out at 15W.

The $99.95 Wireless Charging Station 2-in-1, offered in the same two colors, is a Qi2.2-compatible accessory with two 25W wireless charging pads that can run at full power at the same time. One pad sits on a base built from die-cast aluminum and zinc, and the other is mounted on an adjustable arm that folds flat for travel. Peak Design founder and CEO Peter Dering said the company did not set out to make another collection of chargers and cables, but to demonstrate how much better everyday electronics products could be. He argued that consumers have come to accept disposable, merely adequate electronics.

Neither wireless charger includes an adapter. Peak Design is selling the $64.95 Dual Slim Charger as a companion; it uses GaN technology, measures half an inch thick and supplies up to 65W through two USB-C ports. The company also introduced USB-C UltraStrand Cables priced from $24.95 to $39.95. The 60W / 480Mbps version comes in lengths from 15 centimeters to 2 meters, while the 240W / 40Gbps option ranges from 15 centimeters to a meter.

The launch places Peak Design in the US accessory market alongside established charging brands, with the travel battery’s Qi2.3 certification as its main technical claim. The products will be sold in the US at the prices announced, and the staggered November 5th availability applies to the travel battery and certain UltraStrand cable lengths.
