Amazon has released most of its latest Echo hardware, with nearly every product in the new lineup available to buy as of Oct. 28, 2026. The rollout covers Echo speakers, smart displays and a smart photo frame. The only exception is the Echo Show 16, which is not launching until Dec. 16, though preorders are open now with $100 off the cost.

The lineup reflects a shift in how Amazon introduces hardware. Rather than unveiling dozens of products onstage at annual events, the company is now giving each new product its own launch, and this October's round centers on Echo devices for US shoppers.

The new Echo Dot carries 50 percent more bass than its predecessor and handles Alexa Plus conversations with faster on-device processing. An additional mic is included to better pick up voices around the house. The device also adds Omnisense, a temperature- and presence-sensing technology that controls smart home devices.

The Echo Studio with Home Camera adds a camera and Alexa Plus smarts to the speaker. Amazon plans to enable pairing with Fire TV devices after launch, which would let video calls appear on the big screen.

The Echo Time is not Amazon's first bedside alarm clock, but it is aimed at improving sleep and does not include a camera. Using ultrasound, it can detect the user's sleep stage and apply smart alarms to ease them into the day, though only if the user enables those features.

The Alexa Photo Frame offers a 10-inch anti-glare touchscreen and comes in several design options. It includes Alexa and doubles as a smart speaker, and it works with Amazon Photos, which provides unlimited storage for Prime members.

At the top of the range is the Echo Show 16, described as Amazon's most powerful and best-sounding smart display yet. It packs eight woofers and two tweeters between its stand and screen, is VESA-compatible, and offers a pricier nanomatte screen option.
