Asus Republic of Gamers is offering its XG27AQDMGR gaming monitor for $384, according to a deal reported by Tom's Hardware. The 27-inch flat-panel display uses WOLED technology, a variant of OLED that targets gaming performance and HDR output.

The XG27AQDMGR runs at 1440p QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. Asus rates its response time at 0.03ms, a figure the company ties to OLED panels generally, and the screen is intended to reduce ghosting during fast-motion gameplay. The panel also carries a glossy screen finish.

On the image quality side, the WOLED display is VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black compliant. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, supports true 10-bit color and is rated at Delta E under 2 for color difference. Those specifications apply to HDR performance in games.

Asus includes a Neo proximity sensor that detects when a user steps away from the screen and switches it to a black screen. That behavior is meant to lower the risk of static screen burn-in, a known concern for OLED displays. The monitor also carries OLED care functions, which Asus positions as a way to keep the panel bright over time.

Connectivity covers PCs, consoles and laptops through compatible video ports. The monitor provides two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 connections and two USB ports. Asus names the Xbox Series X, Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 as consoles that can be connected, along with laptops for work or school.

The deal price of $384 is the central figure in the offer. The source article did not state a list price, a discount percentage or an expiration date for the promotion.
